Sudden Cardiac Arrest kills more than 60,000 people every year. Young or old can fall victim but in about 80% of cases the condition can be corrected by prompt CPR and use of a Defib. As a result of the Tamworth Herald’s campaign on Tamworth Have A Heart’s behalf, two more members of the public have come forward and kindly offered to donate an AED for public use. This generous offer is really appreciated by the team at Tamworth have A Heart and goes to show what generous-hearted people live in Tamworth.
We have plans in place now to install an AED in Upper Gungate near Bell Corner, the Railway Station, Colehill near the Cooperative store and Marmion House. Non of this could happen without the generous support of the citizens of Tamworth! Thank you and keep up the good work!
